At approximately 8:30 AM this morning, Engine 4 was dispatched to assist Cover Hill Vol. Fire Co. With a structure fire. Crews gave assistance and operated for several hours. Dale Boro Fire Company is always willing to help in a time of need!

Tonight, our team focused on scene lighting and ladder positioning to enhance our rescue skills. Members simulated a situation involving a person in the waterway, allowing us to practice our response techniques in a controlled environment. We set up lights to illuminate the area and placed a ladder safely over the side of the bridge for quick access.
The Dale Boro Fire company will be driving around from 6:00 - 7:30pm in Dale Borough for Halloween on October 31st. ![]()

Here are three safety tips for a safe and enjoyable trick-or-treat experience!![]()

1. Stay Visible![]()
Make sure costumes are bright and reflective. Consider adding glow sticks or reflective tape to help children be seen by drivers. Carrying flashlights can also enhance visibility.![]()

2. Follow the Rules of the Road![]()
Always walk on sidewalks and cross streets at designated crosswalks. Teach children to look both ways before crossing and to be aware of their surroundings.![]()

3. Use a Buddy System![]()
Always go trick-or-treating with a friend or group. This not only makes the experience more fun but also enhances safety, as children can look out for one another and stay together.
Come join us at our fire station for our biggest fundraiser of the year, the annual Dale Boro Fire Company Turkey Raffle! All throughout the night starting at 7PM in our event hall, there will be food for sale, chances to win cash, and door prizes. The club will also be open during the event, and attendees are welcome to go there as well to grab a drink and participate. Non-members must be accompanied by a member of the organization to enter the club. There is no admission fee, paddles are $1 each for 2 spins, or you can keep your paddle the entire night for $25. Bring the whole family, and please message us if you have any questions. We can’t wait to see you there!
