Founding and Early Years
The Dale Fire Department was established in 1893, born out of the dedication and commitment of community members to protect and serve the residents of Dale Borough. Initially founded with a small group of volunteers and limited equipment, the department quickly became a cornerstone of the community, responding to fires and emergencies with courage and determination.

Over the decades, the Dale Fire Company has grown and evolved in tandem with the city of Johnstown.
